Temporary Residency

Temporary Residency

Temporary Residency is an immigration status in Canada that permits the foreign national to stay in Canada for a limited period of time. This is in contrast to Permanent Residency, which allows a foreign national to stay in Canada for an undefined period of time.
There are different categories of applications for Temporary Residency, and every type has its requirements. Foreign nationals may become eligible to come to Canada by obtaining a Visitor Visa, Study Permit or Work Permit.
